Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cook book writer and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002, and has been aired for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina Garten began her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget reports. In the beginning, she was enthralled by the intellectual stimulation that came with her work, but she eventually, she began to lose interest. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. It took her nearly 18 years to turn the store into wildly successful, before she closed the business. After that, she started writing her first cookbook. There were many more cookbooks as well as magazine columns which followed. Her Food Network TV show also made its debut, and was a huge hit. Additionally, she offers everything from cooking equipment to tools and storage containers. Ina is not a student at any cookery schools or employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. Her name is associated with her casual way of creating and entertaining. The most well-known recipes include Skillet - Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Mac and Beef Bourguignon. cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake as well as Lemon Bars.
