Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, performer and actor well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in when she made her stage debut. After that, she acted on Broadway in a variety of productions until 1957 in which Li'l abner was big in the National Theatre. That same year, she recorded her first album, It's Time to Tina. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was when she played Griselda in God's Little Acre, a 1958 drama. It received wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. During this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. Louise joined CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career, balancing Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying an empathetic in contrast to the glamorous image that she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has gained recognition as a producer on a variety of popular TV shows like Supernatural. Her birthplace was in Essex August 28th, 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice to play the lead.
