Rosalie Anderson MacDowell is an American actress and former fashion model. MacDowell has starred in many romantic comedies, aswell as dramas. MacDowell is also the face of L'Oreal. Rosalie MacDowell is an extremely popular American actress for many years. MacDowell is a part of romantic comedies and dramas. MacDowell has been the Calvin Klein model and spokeswoman in 1986. Her first films were Greystoke. The Legend of Tarzan Lord of the Apes (1984) and the Bratpack car St. Elmo's fire (1985) were her first films. Sex Lies and Videotape (2009) was her debut feature. The role garnered her the Independent Spirit Award and Golden Globe Award nominations. She then appeared in numerous movies, including Green Card (90), Groundhog Day, (1993), Short Cuts, (1993), Four Weddings and a Funeral, (1994), Michael (1996) Multiplicity (2000) and The Muse (2000). Andie MacDowell was first seen in the role of an actor in 1984 with the movie Greystoke. She portrayed Miss Jane Porter in The Legend of Tarzan Lord of the Apes. Andie had a couple of memorable roles in the 1990s. Her debut role was 1993's Groundhog Day, where she played Rita. Andie was a breakout star in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral in which she was a co-star with Hugh Grant. In this movie Andie appeared as Carrie.
